Frieda Mamerow

Frieda Johanna Maria Mamerow was born on December 6, 1875, in Dargun, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, the daughter of Johanna and Ernst. She was baptized in the same year, on December 26. On October 25, 1894, she married Wilhelm Johann Carl Wiegert in Gnoien, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany. In 1900, they immigrated to Milwaukee, WI. During the course of 17 years, they had eight children. In 1935, she became a naturalized citizen. Frieda died on June 29, 1961, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 85, and was buried in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
